Difference Between TAX and UTILITY Accounts
 

Payment Options 

* Pay in person at RWD office with cash, cheque or Interact.
* Mail a cheque made out to Rutland Waterworks District or use overnight payment slot (please enclose remittance stub with payment).
* Do not remit cash when paying by mail or when using the overnight payment slot.
* Setup Pre-Authorized Debit (click here)
* Payable at financial institutions, providing the teller with the correct account number
* Payable through online banking by following the below steps:

Setting Up a Payee 

Water Parcel TAX Account

1.) Login to your online banking
2.) Find ‘Pay Bills’
3.) Select ‘Add Payee’ > start typing “Rutland Waterworks” and choose the TAX option
4.) Enter your TAX account number: (5 Numbers)
5.) Create nickname (optional)
6.) Issue $ amount

Quarterly UTILITY/TOLL Account

1.) Login to your online banking
2.) Find ‘Pay Bills’
3.) Select ‘Add Payee’ > start typing “Rutland Waterworks” and choose the WATER or TOLL option
4.) Enter your WATER UTILITY account number: (no spaces or dashes)
5.) Create nickname (optional)
6.) Issue $ amount
